Jack Lardy 1928 - 2006

I would like to thank each of you for visiting JacksToyStore.com.

My Dad was Jack Lardy and without him my business would not be possible.

My Dad passed away back in 2006.

Trisha's First Pedal Car

He went to all the Gift Shows with me and we had so much fun together. Years ago back in the 60's when I was a kid we couldn't afford the toys that we now sell. My Dad was a mailman at the time and he would see pedal cars and planes out for the garbage man to pick up. He would go up to the house and ask if he could have them. They would say yes, and then he would place them in a relay box, that's where the mail is kept so he could pick it up later. The pedal cars and planes would normally have a bad wheel or need paint. He would take them home and then show my Mom what a great item he just found. Between my Dad fixing the wheel and my Mom painting them, they came out like brand new. Of course the whole time they would be showing me how to fix them.

As a kid back in the 60's you couldn't have two better parents. I miss my Dad every day. I am very lucky to still have my Mom. I hope you had a childhood that you loved to remember and please make your child's memories something special!

Trisha

Sincerely,
Trisha of JacksToyStore.com
